A different kind of abundance

Buddhists praying.

The Monks of the Pacific Hermitage in White Salmon, WA (which happens to be local to me) are not allowed to possess or use money, ask for or store food. They survive on donations and the goodwill of the community they serve spiritually — a beautiful example of how the universe provides by connecting people and resources. Read the story, beautifully presented by the Columbian, here.
